How to Save Your Parking Spot in Google Maps

It’s good that Google Maps is doing something about making our parking a less of a concern. Shortly after it added a parking availability feature, Google is doubling down with a parking reminder feature.

Google Now was equipped with a parking reminder of a while now, but people never got to use it because it was somewhat hidden. The feature was in beta for a while but now it’s available on the latest versions of Google Maps for iOS and Android.

The new parking reminder can be found right inside the Maps app. Follow the steps down below to save your parking spot on Google Maps.

How to save your parking spot on Google Maps

1. Open Google Maps and tap the blue icon that indicates your location.

2. Tap on Save your parking.

3. Once you tap it, Google Maps will automatically save your location inside Maps, as well as add a reminder to your notification pane.

That’s it. You’re done.
