How to Download Youtube & Facebook Videos on Android

Even though it’s slightly against the rules, downloading videos & audio from video streaming websites has always been a common practice among PC users. Since the explosion in popularity of Android, a number of video downloader apps have appeared in the Google Play Store, but none of them have managed to live up to the expectations.

Few of the apps we’ve tested didn’t work at all, and those that did had very little functionality and were absolutely filled with ads. Just when we were on the edge of giving up we came across SnapTube.

SnapTube is not listed in Google Play but will more than make up for that minor shortcoming. It’s designed to be very self-explanatory so you won’t need to to any complex operations to download media from streaming websites. Without customizing the default page, SnapTube will recommend you popular video sources like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Vine, DailyMotion, Vimeo and more. Aside from them, you can add any other website you might want to download from. The app does not only help you download videos from those sites, but it also recommends you the most popular ones and lets you decide based on categories.

You can download videos in various formats including MP3, MP4 with resolutions ranging from 144p to 1080p. The hard part is to decide on the file, after that the download will begin in no time. The default download limit is 2 downloads at a time, but you can raise that limit to 10 by tweaking the settings.

Since you can’t download it from the Play Store because of certain internal rules that prevent Google from letting these kinds of apps in stores, you will have to download the SnapTube APK and install it on your device. Don’t worry about it, we’re gonna guide you through the whole process.
