How to Change SDK Path in Android Studio



If you installed Android Studio with the default settings, you’ll notice that the default SDK path is C:\android-sdk. Depending on your work, chances are the SDK files will end up taking a lot of space. If you have multiple drives, is best to move the SDK folder on a drive other than the one accommodating your OS.

Here’s how to change the SDK path in Android Studio:

1. Go to File>Project Structure or press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S.

2. On the left side, select SDK Location.

3. Tap the browse icon under Android SDK location.

4. Choose the new SDK path and hit OK.
